Aerosolv® Aerosol Can Disposal System
Safe, convenient, easy-to-use, economical and compliant way to dispose of aerosol cans. Changes cans from solid hazardous waste to a non-hazardous, fully recyclable state. Every 100 cans punctured and emptied increases recyclable scrap metal by 25 lbs. and reduces solid waste by 10 cu. ft. Contents of over 4,000 spent aerosols may be collected in just one 55-gal. drum. Puncturing unit threads into the 2" bung of a standard 55-gal. drum. All moving parts are 308 stainless steel. Accepts series 200, 300 and 6 oz. cans. No power source needed. Carbide-tipped piercing pin displays no visible signs of wear after puncturing 10,000 aerosol cans. Super system includes a lockout and shutoff mechanism that positively seals unit and drum when not in use. Padlock with key is included to insure against use by unauthorized personnel. Polytetraflouroetylene (PTFE) coated body for easy clean-up. Color changing combination coalescing/carbon filter signals saturation and eliminates premature changing of upper activated carbon cartridge. Complies with EPA 40 CFR 261. 23(a)(6).
